Program Description
This course provides Entry Level Training for a protection officer. The subject of professionalism is one of the most important aspects of security. You will also need to develop good public relations skills. You will learn about legal authority and liabilities, including the use of reasonable force, arrest and detention procedures, how to make an arrest, and the factors associated with search and seizure. You will be given an overview of the duties and functions of a protection officer that include protecting people from injuries and situations where they may occur. You will be taught to recognize and properly handle hazardous materials and emergency procedures.
